If you're new to our short film, here's a teaser for our Behind the Scenes Film by @theoriginalxophoto:
Martha’s Ball, a consultation and awareness event held for 150 people in Cardiff in February 2019 and Festi-Ball 2020, explored the causes of rising instances of sexual violence among students and young people in South Wales. A repeated theme was consent; the myths and misunderstandings surrounding it, the absence of education to explain the importance of it, and the long-lasting impacts on physical and mental health when it isn’t respected.
In response to this identified need, we have made a 12 minute short film called Switch, to raise awareness of this critical issue in an engaging, educational and creative way. Switch was premiered at Festi-Ball 2020.
